"How I'm Uplifting and Affirming My Trans Child Amid the Hate" by Sandy Jorgenson
We admire this author's tenacious love and defense of her child's identification as trans nonbinary and wanted to share her call to ask others to be similarly supportive. In our Reading Motherhood course, we frequently interrogate the notion that motherhood is "universal" and "instinctual," and so, as a caveat, we ask that you read the first several paragraphs with a discerning eye.
